Michael D. Edge

Michael D. Edge is a director at Elysium Digital, specializing in data analytics and technology-based intellectual property litigation including patent, trade secret, and copyright cases. He has consulted on more than 60 matters in a wide variety of technical fields, has submitted federal court declarations, and has submitted expert reports and served as a testifying expert in federal court and at arbitration. His IP work has involved prior art charting, claim construction analysis, and infringement and validity analysis in fields such as mobile, networking, DRM, and enterprise software. He has been the lead investigator in numerous matters involving code comparison and analysis, data analysis, trade secret appropriation, and copyright infringement.

Michael holds a B.S.E. (cum laude) in electrical engineering and computer science from Princeton University (1987).

Prior to joining Elysium Digital, Michael was a software architect with over two decades of technology development experience with an emphasis on multimedia, graphics, video streaming, 3D rendering, and interactive gaming technologies. He developed new multimedia and digital video as the vice president of production for numerous companies, including Synthespia, Dataware Technologies, and Ledge Multimedia.
