If you have the problem that one of our programs produces graphics errors in DOS, or crunches all of the graphical data into the top couple of inches of the screen, then you may not have the right VESA BIOS.
This means that the chips on your video card do not understand the commands that the program is sending.
Usually, this can be fixed with a VESA DRIVER. This is a program that you load before you run the application that is giving you trouble. The VESA DRIVER essentially enlarges the vocabulary of the graphics card, enabling it to understand the commands that the application sends.
To save you some trouble, we have collected several vesa drivers here. This is not a complete listing, so if you don't find a driver for your card here, you may still want to check with your card's manufacturer.

If you cannot find a manufacturer's driver that works with your card, try the freeware universal VESA driver:

Finally, if that does not work, you can try the shareware multicard driver by the folks at Scitech.
